It's way beyond bars...

Punished like a criminal,

Treated like an animal!

Stopped by the metals…

Stood the man behind the bars!

Repeatedly yelling,

Constantly crying,

Was trying to prove his presence by respiring!

No one bothered…

No one cared…

He had no company with whom his feelings could be shared!!

His excessive attempts were later claimed sick…

This really seemed like a pre-planned trick!

This lonely walk had taken him too far…

No one had the time to gaze at his deep scars!

What is he still doing in the asylum?

The whole country has become his rival!

Yes it’s time to remove him out…

It’s time to redraw the line…

It’s time to prove that he’s mentally stable and fine!

Give him an opportunity to prove himself right…

Let him break the shekels and overcome his fright!

Just take a look in those bars…

You’ll be able to see way beyond those scars!

Isn’t he a human?

Doesn’t he stand a chance?

A chance to rebuild his life…

A chance to spend time with his wife…

A chance to love…

A chance to pray…

A chance to prove…

A chance to find the people behind this play!

Cause it really won’t be wise…

To let a person die in front of your eyes!
